Springs Declaration

Spring casts off winters concealment,

Apollo and Earths heady achievement.

Plants wipe away their dewy tears,

The larks they finds our grateful ears.

Colours sing in loudest their voice,

As the buds they do rejoice.

In the confirmation of hope,

A blossoming kaleidoscope.

The growing warmth it does beckon,

You to hold that extra second.

And observe Mother Nature in her bridal dress,

A brief moment in lily white, but an eternal yes,

Promise unfurls,

Between a diamond and a pearl,

As there will always be this perfect day,

Of springs glorious declaration in early May.
