Conrad Gamble is a writer, poet, and performer.
In 2017 he launched (non poetry): ‘For the Love of London’ – ‘What makes London Great by those who make it great”. Available in Waterstones, Oliver Bonas, Somerset House, Foyles, The V&A and Amazon.
His debut film ‘Thunder Before Lightning’ is coming soon.
He has been commissioned to write poetry for ‘The Book of Everyone’, ‘Suitcase Magazine’, The Listeners Project and the London Spoken Word Anthology amongst others.
He has performed at Sunday Papers, Live Secret Cinema ‘Dead Poets Society’, Somerset House, Blacks Club, the Cheltenham Poetry Festival as well as abroad in the Island of Obanjan in Croatia, Burgundy, Barcelona and Tuscany.
He curates a monthly poetry night, ‘Ear Smoke – night of words in flight’ which started at a French restaurant in Hackney and has moved across London now settling in with a residency at Laylow by the Trellick Tower.
Ear Smoke will be appearing at this years Curious Arts Festival in Sussex.
Ear Smoke’s next outing is on the 18th of April, featuring Selina Nwulu, the former Young Poet Laureate for London, Tibbs Jenkins, Contance Allfrey.

On the 19th Ear Smoke will be appearing the SVA in Stroud and will have Mark and Olivier Huband, father and son, reading there poetry and Nancy Trotter Landry singing accompanied by Bob Pearson.
